THE STEELERS

• The Steelers were the champions in 1975, 1976,1979 and 1980
• Their unstoppable defensive line was known as the steel curtain

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

• In 1970 ABC introduce a new channel know as Monday Night Football
• Many former or active players stared on the show as commentators.

FASHION

• Much of the clothes in the 1970's could be worn by men and women
• This includes hip-huggers, platform shoes, bell-bottom jeans,t-shirts and pants suits
• Also long hair was popular for men and women in the 1970's

SOCCER LEAGUES

• Kids first got interested in soccer in the early 1970's
• AYSO was the first to set up kids soccer leagues
