The 1930s
Politics in the 30s were very different from the 20s. The role between the people and the government completely changed because the government passed many laws trying to help people get through the Great Depression. Also politics in the 30s was dominated by Franklin D. Roosevelt he started his presidency in 1933 and ended it 12 years later in 1945.

Similarities in 1920s & 1930s

Both decades experienced probation, and both experienced at least some part of the recession. Also both were relatively peaceful times for the country

Differences in 1920s & 1930s

In the 30s because of the Great Depression the government spent way more money on the people, FDR was president for most of the 30s unlike the 20s which had four different presidents, FDR started made things more personal in the 30s with his fireside chats

Conclusion
The 1930s were very different from the 1920s because the role of the government changed. In the 1930s congress passed a lot of bills where federal money would be given to or spent on the people. Nothing like this had ever happened before.
