21st Century Teachers

  • Create unique, connected opportunities to learn.
  • Create opportunity for student-led learning.
  • Use technology as a vehicle for learning.
  • Integrate skills beyond the textbook.
  • Provide real-world experiences.

This transition into 21st century teaching is difficult, but not impossible. Trying to find that balance between what we are used to and what we have learned can be tricky. I think it is so important that we create environments conducive to self-taught learning and provide students with unique opportunities to become life-long, self-reliant learners. If we can teach students how to teach themselves their possibilities in this world are endless!
