Water pollution is the addition of any substances has a negative effect on water or living things that depend on water.

Pollutant
Pollutant is the sus stance that causes water pollution.

A specific source of pollution that can be indentified

Non-point source
A widely spread source of pollution that can't be tied to a specific point of origin.

Pesticide
Pesticides are chemicals intended to kill insects or animals that could damage crops.

Acid rain
Rain that is more acid than normal.
