OBJECTIVE

  • By the end of the lesson the audience should be able to have a understanding of the laws and be able to explain them in their own words.

WHAT I WILL BE DOING

  • During this time period I will be explaining each and every Law of Motion and giving you examples of what every Law of Motion looks like so you can have a better understanding.

QUESTION OF THE DAY

  • What exactly does every Law of Motion mean and how do they effect out everyday life.

1ST LAW OF MOTION

  • An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. Ex- a soccer ball staying still until being kicked.

IN MY OWM WORDS

  • The 1st Law of Motion means in my own words is that unless force is applied to the object the object will not move and stay still.

2ND LAW OF MOTION

  • Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed (to accelerate the object).Ex- getting a a heavy ball to move the same pace as a small ball u have to use more force.

IN MY OWN WORDS

  • The 2nd Law of Motion says that the bigger and heavier the object is the more force you need to be able to get the object to move at a high speed.

3RD LAW OF MOTION

  • For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. Ex- A fireman turning on a hose then pushed backwards.

IN MY OWN WORDS

  • When a force is started up on one side the other side will have a opposite reaction.

QUESTIONS

  • Who created the 3 Laws of Motion?
  • What is the first law of motion?
  • What was the second law of motion?
  • What was the third law of motion?

BIBLICAL INTEGRATION

  • God created everything through a seven day process. Newtons three Laws of Motion were created in that process but never got the name. God created each and everyone of these laws to make life livable. Genesis 1:1-3
