ESTUARIES

Geographic location

Most Estuaries are along the sides along the coast usually by the oceans.

Climate

The climate varies but usually is 50-75 degrees fahrenheit. Most estuaries have two seasons wet season and dry season.

Terrain

The land surroundings are different from land to sea and from saltwater to freshwater. They are protected from most ocean waves, wind, and storms. They protected by reefs, little island, mud, and sand surrounding them.

Some fish found in some Estuaries.
There are more then 400 different types of fish the some of the most common fish are sand flounders, yellow bellied flounders, Lake trout, Coho salmon, Alewire, smelt, Plankton, and Chula.

Other animals are..
Bald Eagles, Cormorant, Herring gull, lots of migratory birds, some sea turtles and rays, coral reefs, oyster reefs and mud and blue crabs.
