Ambedextrous: means that both of your hand are dominate. Thumb Sucking: Thumb sucking can be a stress reliever to some children who are anxious when they're young, however if kept for to long it can become a nasty bad habit

Daily Nutrition is very important to a child. Nutrition helps them grow and remain healthy

A child has about 20 non-permanent teeth (they will eventually fall out and be replaced by your 32 permanent adult teeth). Although if you don't brush or floss you could lose some of your permanent adult teeth to!

This 4-6 year period in a child's life is a very emotional time. They are just learning about and starting to experience the world so they are starting to feel new feelings and different types of emotions. For example, a child might feel very sad about someone passing away now, but when they were much younger they wouldn't have understood that emo

Social Patterns: At this age they will have most likely been integrated with a lot of the same aged kids so they soon start to play and make friends while slowly learning new lessons together.

Intellectual Development: They have grown a little older now so their brains are starting to develop more intellectually as they begin to learn and discover new things

Piaget's Four Stages of Learning Thory: is a description of cognitive development as four distinct stages in kids: sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete, and formal.

You never really know when a child is ready for school when the time comes but here are some clues to when a good time would be:Can follow simple directions.
Can sits still for long periods of time.

Works on fine and gross motor skills.

Gets along with others.

Handles emotions well.

Shows an interest in learning.
