FOUR PARTS OF LENT

PRAYER

• During the Season of Lent, we pray to get closer to God.
• You can pray the rosary more often during this time
• You can visit the tabernacle at a church to pray to Jesus

FASTING

• During the lent, we give up something we enjoy to understand
• This lenten season, i decided to give up Soda and Coffee
• The past few lents, i fasted and ate fish on fridays and Ash Wednesday

ALMSGIVING

• Almsgiving means giving essentials to those who don't have a lot
• During Lent, i place money in the rice bowls we receive from school
• I also Donate food and clothes to places that collect donations

PENANCE

• When easter comes, we should have a clean conscience, which can happen through Reconciliation
• To prepare for Easter, i go to confession at like twice during the season of lent
