Pick a college near your residence. It will enable you to save travel time and therefore adding study time during your 12th. You will get ample of time to explore, participate in college functions, join different extra curricular activities, and much more.

Pick one in which you score easily and not only which one thinks ‘ I like it’.

There is trend to hurry up and join specialized line post 10th. Though 2 years are not a big prize for a life time satisfaction. Here is where aptitude test helps along with the past 5 years scores. There are few test apart from Aptitude (IQ score) – to measure Innate Skills like DMIT and to measure Acquired Skills like Psychometric Test.

We have power of observation, if you are thinking about Medicine. Visit the best of hospitals – check the display boards, Doctors panel, Treatments offered, etc. What you will get to know is different options in medicine which you might have never heard or imagined that they existed. Go back home and use the god of search engine GOOGLE to know more about the profession.

Human have the opportunity to ask, which we highly miss. There are 2 important questions to be answered before we ask –

Whom to ask?

What to ask?

Apart from the above 2 don’t worry, just ask – why, when, how are relevant on later stage. Give a thorough brain storming only for whom and what to ask. Identify a profession you want to know, find a professional in that domain, ask him / her – what qualification do one need, what skills required, what experience to accumulate, what extra knowledge do one need.
