HUANG HE RIVER
- 1. Starts in the Kunlun Mts. to the West
- 2. Has caused terrible flooding in the past, destroying homes
- 3. Empties into the Yellow Sea
- 4. Called "China's Sorrow" due to its destructive flooding
- 5. "Huang He" means "Yellow River"

- Located in Western China
- Decent Farm Land
- Source of the Huang He and Yangtze Rivers
- Tibet is nearby
- Overflows it's rivers often

XI JIANG RIVER
- Flows into the South China Sea
- River's valley is rich with mineral resources
- Forms an estuary with 3 other rivers
- Provides water for some of Southern China
- Also known as the West River

YALU JIANG RIVER
- About 500 miles long
- Forms the Border between North Korea and China
- Rich with minerals
- Was used in 1950 by China to enter the Korean War
- Flows into the Korean Bay
