1. Exercise: It does wonders for your energy levels, mental clarity & gives a great boost to the day.

It does wonders for your energy levels and mental clarity! Most people that work out daily suggest doing so in the morning as it gives a great boost to the day. Your session doesn't have to be complicated or too long. Just make sure you spend at least 15 minutes in coordinated movement.

2. Eat a Healthy Breakfast
Fuel your body properly for the tasks ahead of it.

Eat a Healthy Breakfast: With rush hour traffic, school runs etc. to contend with in the mornings, a decent breakfast tends to take the back seat. This actually has a negative effect on your day as by the time you do eat, it's either something with too much starch or sugar, or both which wreaks havoc on your energy levels and concentration. Plan your meal and make it the day before if possible so you can just pack it and take with you if there's no time to eat at home. Take that extra time in the morning to fuel your body properly for the tasks ahead of it.

3. Visualise a successful day. Bottom line is you can't achieve what you don't see.

Bottom line is you can't achieve what you don't see. Simple. Spend some quiet time inside your mind meditating or visualizing your day ahead of you, focusing on the successes you will have. Even just a minute of visualization and positive thinking can help improve your mood and outlook on your work load for the day.

4. Map out Your Day
Maximize your potential by mapping out your schedule, goals & to dos for the day

Map Out Your Day: Maximize your potential by mapping out your schedule for the day, as well as your goals and to dos. The morning is a good time for this as it is often one of the only quiet times a person gets throughout the day. The early hours make it easier to reflect and that helps when prioritizing your activities. They also allow for uninterrupted problem solving when trying to fit everything into your timetable. You should also consciously plan breaks into your day so it's not just back-to-back activity all day long.

5. Do the hard task first
Your day will get progressively easier, not the other way round

Do the hard task first: We all have that one item on our to do list that we dread. Here’s an easy tip to save yourself stress – do that least desirable task on your list First. Your day will get progressively easier, not the other way around. By the time your work day is ending, you’re winding down with easier tasks and heading into your free time more relaxed.
