2.
LOCATION (LITTLE)
There are 2 types of location: relative and absolute and relative
Relative location is using a nearby place to locate another place
Sometimes we use cardinal points to locate that place.
Absolute is using longitude and latitude to locate the exact point
The ceiling tiles represent longitude and latitude lines.
3.
PLACE (PIGS)
Physical characteristics are the things that are natural to the environment
In the picture, the tree is a physical characteristic of the field
Human characteristics are things that are made from the ideas of humans
In the picture, the track is a human characteristic of the field.
4.
MOVEMENT (MAKE)
There are 3 kinds of movement: people, ideas & goods
The lunch line represents the movement of people because people move through it
The microphone represents the movement of ideas because the idea of
the microphone spread from country to country.
Snacks represent movement of goods because goods were shipped from other countries
5.
HUMAN/ENVIROMENT INTERACTION (HENRY)
Is how humans interact with the enviroment
We modified the the earth by pouring concrete on the ground to make the bus circle
We depended on the environment because we needed the land to build the bus circle
We adapted to the environment because we built the bus circle so the buses could pass through
6.
REGION (RUN)
