Rule #1 - Respect
When responding to any adult, you must respond by saying, "Yes, ma'am" or "No, sir." It is not acceptable to just nod your head or say only yes or no.
In addition, make eye contact when someone is speaking. Keep your eyes on that person. If someone else makes a comment, turn and face that person.

Learn the names of other staff members in our building and greet them by their name and respond to them if spoken to.
Do not smack your lips or roll your eyes or disrespect with gestures.

If someone in the class wins a game or does something well, congratulate that person.

Do not save seats in the lunchroom. Do not exclude ANYONE.
At school settings and functions, treat others with respect and kindness.
Look for opportunities to perform random acts of kindness.

It is important that you always say, "thank you" when we give you something. There is no excuse for not showing appreciation.
When given something, NEVER insult that person by making negative comments about the gift or show lack of appreciation.

If you bump someone or run into someone, say, "Excuse me", even if it was not your fault.
Hold doors open for others when you can
Wait for class to exit before entering. Remain in line quietly outside of the classroom.

Please understand that homework is to be turned in each day in each subject without exception.
Homework: 1 day late - 50% - after that the grade becomes a 0

If anyone is bullying you, tell a staff member. We are here to look after and protect you. No one should make you feel uncomfortable.
