Nervous

The function of the nervous system is to send electrical impulses. It is the center command post and it controls and coordinates all functions of the body.

Immune

The function of the immune system is to fight off bacteria and viruses that would be harmful to our body.

Digestive

The function of the digestive system is to break down food and absorb nutrients.

Respiratory

The function of the respiratory system is to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Circulatory

The function of the circulatory system is to move oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, and cell waste (basically everything) around the body.

Urinary

The function of the urinary system is to filter waste out of blood.

Integumentary

The function of the integumentary system is to protect us from the environment, maintain body temperature, and provide us with the sense of touch.
