TREATY OF PARIS

  • The Treaty of Paris is created in 1783
  • The Treaty of Paris was the peace treaty between the Untied States and Great Britain
  • A treaty is a formal agreement between nations
  • There are 3 important parts of the Treaty of Paris

TREATY OF PARIS FIRST IMPORTANT PART

  • Great Britain controlled all the land
  • Colonists wanted to govern themselves not by King George III
  • Great Britain be the United States become it's own country thanks to this treaty

TREATY OF PARIS SECOND IMPORTANT PART

  • The second part to the treaty was Britain gave up all claims what so ever.
  • Great Britain agreed to give up all land between Atlantic coast and Mississippi River.
  • As well as, Canada south to Florida.

TREATY OF PARIS THIRD IMPORTANT PART

  • 3rd: the U.S. Agreed to return all the loyalists property.
  • America vandalized, destroyed, threw away all the goods for the loyalists.
  • They agreed to give all back. Every single last piece Of anything they trashed.

LOYALISTS DIDN'T TRUST THE TREATY
