  • Runs from northern Syria to central Mozambique in south east asia
  • Considered geologically imprecise
  • Part of and intra continental ridge system that runs through Kenya north and south
  • Contains a chains of volcanoes

LAKE VICTORIA

  • One of the African Great Lakes
  • Named after queen Victoria
  • Africa's largest lake by area
  • Worlds second largest freshwater lake by surface area

MT. KILIMANJARO

  • Three volcanic cones
  • Dormant volcanic mountain
  • The highest mountain in Africa
  • Highest freestanding mountain in the world

  • Historically large
