Packing for a week:
-work boots: for working on the farm
-a book:to tech Robert's family to read
-a rifle: to go hunting with Robert/ Papa
-a hat: to keep sun out of my face while I work with Robert
-tools: to fix/repair broken things around the farm
Birthday gift:
Because Robert can't have frills, for Robert's birthday gift, i would cook Robert some rabbit(pg. 65) just like his mom's recipe. Along with that, i would make him some gingersnaps with butter milk.(pg.83)

Ending to our book:
In chapters 7-9 it talks about how Robert helped Mrs.Bascom with her plants and Robert going to the cemetery with his father and Robert going to Rutland fair with Mr. and Mrs. Tanner. Along with his pig(pinky). I think pinky will win first place in the fair's pig contest. The whole Tanner and Peck family will be happy with each other.

I was trying to teach him how to diagram sentences, but he just wasn't understanding me. When he kept saying" I can't, Auntie Matty."i was telling him that i knew he couldn't. I was thinking "if you knew how to do it, you wouldn't have gotten a D in english." I think when I told him i didn't get mad he didn't believe me but, i dont know. I was proud that i could still draw a diagram because i was nervous i had forgotten to.( carry on to the next page)

But i knew he was still confused about my diagram i just gave it to him so he would see what i meant and he maybe could explain it to himself in his own words. I said" next time, i'll teach the pig." because i thought he was about as dumb as that pig was!
