CUMULUS CLOUDS

  • Cumulus clouds are thunder storm clouds.
  • The cumulus cloud can create lightning, thunder, and violent tornados.
  • The altitude of the cumulus cloud is 39,000 ft. above sea level.

STRATUS CLOUDS

  • Stratus clouds are uniform grayish clouds that often cover the sky.
  • No precipitation, sometimes a drizzle of rain.
  • The altitude of the stratus cloud is below 6,000 ft.

  • Cirrus clouds are thin wispy clouds.
  • They bring pleasant weather and move across the sky from East to West.
  • The altitude of the cirrus cloud 20,000 ft. above sea level.

  • You need to have cold and moist weather to make Fog happen.
  • When Fog is out it is cold.
