setting

ILLINOIS
All of the small settings are in Illinois . Here are some of the settings found in "A Long Way From Chicago": Grandma's house is where they hang out the most. The fair is a small setting where grandma enters the pie competition. Joey and Mary Alice were proud of her for winning second place, While at the fair, joey rides the biplane, which is a small two passenger plane. The Wabash road is at the end of the novel. This is important because this is where the centennial celebration is held and a major fight occurs between old people. This occurs because Grandma won the oldest person competition and the bankers wife was jealous. Because she was about to win
