"Why yes I was," Little Johnny replied. "I was walking in the woods, and I got lost. I want to go home." "Very well then," the elder oak said, "Where do you live, little human?"
"Your brethren?" Little Johnny asked. "Yes, the other trees of this forest are my brethren, and there are many humans cutting them down in the towns close to this forest." The elder oak sighed.
"That sounds horrible!" Little Johnny exclaimed. "What can I do to help?" "I do not know. Why don't you ask the people in your town." The elder oak volunteered.
"Very well then." The elder oak said as he pointed one of his branches off into the woods, "Follow the path that my branch points to and you will reach your town."
He thought and he thought. He thought until he couldn't think anymore, and then he thought some more. Finally, after thinking for hours, Little Johnny came up with an amazing idea.
