Mr.Ethan Cheeseman

• He is a scientist and a inventor.  
• He has three children.Two boys and one girl 
• Their names are Barton, Crandall, and
• Saffron. His back ground personality is 
• running all over the place and caring for his childern.

Character Trait
Mysterious: "Mr. Cheeseman's was expecting a very important call from the police, he stopped what he was doing and walked into the living room to find the phone resting on the cradle." (pg.10)
This means : They are getting ready to move to a different house and they are running from spies. He waiting for a phone call from the police to tell him to go now.

Character Trait2
Scared: " We need to get our hands on the LRV." (Pg.55) This Means: This quote means that the spies want to get there hands on the LVR which is a machine that Mr. Cheeseman made with his wife. The LVR is a machine that stops people what there doing like if there is a car coming to crash into a another car it can freeze the car crashing.

Character Trait 3
Puzzled:"In the middle of a brightly lit, otherwise empty warehouse, was the white moving van and, next to it the large egg-shaped disco ball known as the LVR, completely assembled and ready to go."(Pg.266) This Means: That there is a white moving van with the LVR next to it and the spies are some where Mr. Cheeseman did not know.

Theme 1
Don't worry about anything but you. Quote " When he moved closer to perfecting a device so incredible, a device that could be used for either immense good or unspeakable evil."(Pg.4)
Why: This quote means that even know there is someone out to get you don't worry about it you do what you are doing.

Theme 2
Don't give up!
Quote" Machine has multiple settings. From musk ox all the way down to muskrat" ( Pg. 57) This Means: That the spies are trying to get the LVR from the children because there parents are not home. So the spies are trying to trick them into give them the LVR.

Theme 3
Don't lie tell the truth.
Quote" Gerard looked at the van, not sure how he was expected to get his short body up on the cargo hold." ( Pg.257)
This Means: That Gerard is to short to get in the criminals cargo hold because he was telling a lie saying that he doesn't know about the LVR.

Author's Purpose
The author purpose is to not give up on something you are doing when someone is out to get you.
Quote" As he stood at his workbench welding two pieces of tempered steel together, sparks danced off his welding mask."( Pg. 46)

Author Point of View
The author point of view is they are all over the place and they favor the good side. Quote "once the children were up and ready and had there suitcases packed, Mr. Cheeseman ordered them to gather in the boys room and wait." ( Pg. 13)
