From there Aaron wrote many songs. Over 100. And it all started from Copland’s sister Laurine teaching Aaron how to play at a young age.
Copland started taking folk music that already existed and adding his own little twists to them by taking something he created and adding verses from other folk music in. Copland became very famous for that too.
He toured the world as being one of the first American composers to have international fame. One of his most famous piece is Hoedown.

How Aaron Copland died.
Copland’s health started to die out around the 1980’s. On December 2, 1990 Copland died in Sleepy Hollow, New York. He died of Alzheimer’s disease and respitory failure.
EVEN THOUGH COPLAND PASSED ON.
HIS MUSIC DIDN’T. PEOPLE STILL LISTEN TO IT TILL THIS DAY.
