  • He received the highest score ever recorded for the metrication exam at Punjab Univ
  • He won a full scholarship to the Government College University

HE RECEIVED HIS MA IN MATH

  • He later received his BA degree in physics and math
  • He obtained PHD in theoretical physics

IN 1959

HE BECAME THE YOUNGEST TO BE NAMED FELLOW OF THE ROYAL SOCEITY

SALAM MADE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS IN

  • Quantum electrodynamics
  • Quantum field theory
  • Quantum chromodynamics
  • Particle & nuclear physics

HE BECAME THE 1ST MEMBER

OF PAKISTAN ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION
