THE STORY OF THE DRUM

• Creator was giving the spirits a place to dwell he heard a loud boom
• The sound identified itself as the spirit of the drum God
• The drum asked to accompany the singers and represent mother earths heart
• Creator agreed and from then on all creation sang in harmony
• The drum is the center of all songs and brings completeness

THE ORIGIN OF CORN

• There was a man alone in the fields wishing for company
• A woman came to him and said if he followed what she said, she would stay with him
• The woman told the man to start a fire on the dry land, then drag her body across it
• Wherever he was to drag her, he would see something like grass & something like hair
• Whenever they see corn they know the beautiful woman is thinking of them

CREATION STORY

• The Great Spirit created life and color from darkness and silence
• The Great Turtle was commanded to become land
• The creator fell asleep and dreamed of new creations
• Everything he dreamed of had become true
• We must not question our dreams because they are our creation

• The host represents the body of Christ
• Accepting God/Jesus into our life

• No one else created anything but God
