- He helped his family build a house.
- He married Mary Todd.
- He became president.
- He freed all of the slaves in America.
- He was assassinated in 1865.
Smart
Lincoln was smart because he was a president. He was also smart because he made the 13 amendment.
I am smart.
I am smart because I read and work hard to do what is hard for me.
Brave
Lincoln was brave to free the slaves. He had to be brave because there were a lot of people who didn’t want him to do that.
I can be brave by standing up for what is right.
Kind
Lincoln was kind because he wanted everyone to be free. He fought for black peoples rights .
I am kind. I will be kind by helping my friends and family.
