Born Feb. 12, 1809 in Larue county, Kentucky Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln married Mary Todd on November 4, 1842. Lincoln had four children Robert Todd, Edward Baker, William Wallace, and Thomas. Lincoln was the first president to abolish slavery.
