  • Natural sources such as volcanoes and decaying vegetation

  • The acid chemicals added
  • into dust or smoke
  • in dry areas

how acid rain effects the environment

  • when they fall to ground through dry depositition
  • stick to ground, buildings, cars, and trees
  • washed off through rainstorms 
  • this leads to increased runoff
  • the water runoff makes resluting mixture more acidic
