How it Forms

  • Acid rain is formed when chemicals such as SO2 and NO are released into the air.
  • They rise into the atmosphere and react with water, oxygen and other chemicals.

Why it Forms

  • It forms because the SO2 is going in the air and that makes it an acid.
  • Where is forms? It forms in the sky when the pollution and rain mix in the clouds.

This is related to this class because we make/deal with acids a lot and mix things.

Acid Rain is a serious problem.
