ESSENTIAL QUESTION:

My essential question is “What is the best way to deal with tragedy?”

OVERVIEW:

My article, “Phil's Stock World: Cold War Lessons For US-China Today” talks about lessons learned from the Cold War that can be applied to today in America. This article tells us how if we learn and apply our history to our lives, we can greater understand it. Specifically, the author talks about it with the Cold War, but there are many different aspects of history we can discovering through applying it.

CONCLUSION / CONNECTION TO NOVEL:

Throughout the examples in the article and throughout “River to Redemption” it is seen that there are many tragic events, which people have to deal with while using their past experiences in history. The tragic events come up and they just have to keep going though life the way had been going, learning as they go along. They learned using their past experiences or events throughout history.
