HEALING THE CRIPPLED BEGGAR

• Peter and John go to the temple to pray
• Crippled beggar was at the front gate begging for alms
• He asked John and Peter for alms
• They say they have no gold or silver
• They can give him the ability to walk through Jesus Christ

“I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, [rise and] walk.” Acts 3: 6

ACTS 4:1-22

• John and Peter before the Sanhedrin
• They asked John and Peter how they did it
• John said it was through Jesus Christ
• They then let John and Peter go

"...it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead; in his name this man stands before you healed." Acts 4: 10

• Peter and John get called back to the Sanhedrin
• The Sanhedrin tells them they can't speak or teach in the name of Jesus again
• Peter says it is impossible for them not to speak about what they've seen and heard
• They were released because they found no way to punish them
