• In 1773 the British taxed the colonists on tea and shipped it the America for no cost.

STAMP ACT

• In 1765 all paper items had to have an expensive British Tax Stamp

QUARTERING ACT

• In 1764 the colonists were forced to feed and shelter British troops.

SUGAR ACT

• In 1773 the colonists had to pay tax on molasses, sugar, and rum.

INTOLERABLE ACT

• In 1774 the colonists boycotted a bunch of acts and harassed British soldiers.
