PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a problem of not being able to focus, being over active, not being able to control behavior.
ADHD looks different in every person, so there is a wide array of criteria or measures for testing to help health professionals reach a diagnosis. It is important to be open an honest with the specialist conducting your evaluation so that he/she can come to the most accurate conclusion.
The symptoms of ADHD including inattention and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity. Adults with ADHD often have problems with interpersonal relationships and employment.
One-third of children with ADHD progress satisfactorily into their adult years, another one-third continue to experience problems, and the Final one-third continue to experience and often develop significant problems.
