WHERE IS LOCATED?

  • We have to know that Yamuna river is the longest and the 2nd largest tributary river of Ganga, that is situated in Northern India.

Why is it so sacred for its people?

  • Is a sacred river in Hinduism and the main tributary of the Ganga. But the river is worshipped as a Hindu goddess called YAMUNA.

Why is it called ¨The Stolen River¨

  • Because people says that is a Legend has it that King Sagara almost had 60,000 children, and in a long time ago a god Indra Sagara stole his horse and he was very angry and sent to a lot of children to found the horse, and which animal was eventually found in the underword.
