Advocates for Justice new stop foreclosure webinar training program is going great we are in the 2nd week of the training and one our client’s filed her 2nd document on 11-17-2017.

The 2nd document got the attention of the court clerk. The clerk and the clerk’s supervisor tried to convince my client that she was making a huge mistake filing that document.

and they tagged teamed to convince my client she was confused and she needed to get an attorney.

Jane was thinking these are the same excuses coach Neighbors told her they would use to try and discourage her from filing the legal documents to take control of the foreclosure.

Jane did a great job, she very sternly let the clerk know that she was not the Judge, and she needed to file her documents and let the Judge throw them out of court on a ruling.

Once Jane stood her ground and challenged the clerk’s supervisor they filed her documents.

The 1st document Jane filed was a document to hold the attorney liable for not verifying the facts in the original loan document before he filed the foreclosure against her.

Soon I' received phone calls and emails from attorney Jessie Bonaros, who was hired by the attorney who filed the action in court against Jane in the 1st place.

The new attorney sent me a copy of her notice of appearance and a motion for adjournment for my clients to sign.

I’m thinking OMG! These attorneys just assume that I’m a fellow B.A.R. member and that I would advise my clients to sign a document to give them more time.

So anytime the opposing attorney is requesting something it’s a NO!

Jane felt empowered after observing the reaction of the clerk and the clerk’s supervisor when she filed her second document to take control of the foreclosure.

Jane is ready to file her objection to the new attorney’s request.

Now that Jane has her evidence filed in the court record addressing the predatory lending practices she will soon be able to file her motion to vacate the judgment against her property.
