what happened?

The colonies and Britain won under the reign of George III...

there was a pretty huge debt left over.

they had to start loosening up their moneybags.

So, because the service was made for the colonists safety,

Taxes came into the picture.

Therefore,

but first let us honor

the Proclamation Line of 1763, which by then colonists had already passed.

Quartering act, where

couch potato soldiers lived with you and did nothing but loaf.

Stamp act, where every paper needed a Stamp.

Alright. After that came the

TOWNShEND acts

by Charles "Champane Charlie" Townhsend himself. 

The colonies weren't happy,

so England sent over a great deal more of troops.

The boston Massacre

where a great bias developed.

Soon after

the Townsend Acts were repealed except for that of tea.

Then the Boston Tea Party,

which really put the British on the edge.

the Intolerable Acts, which closed Boston Harbor.
