TALISMANS

• Shard, Star and Zip all have a special talisman to give them power.
• Zambezi, Shard's grandmother created them for what she called a "special generation".
• This enhanced their power
• Each animal must exercise their power in order to use it longer
• A young cub usually starts with 3 sec. of power.
• It depends on how you use the talismans to get more seconds.

SHARD'S TALISMAN

• It helps her get more power, energy, speed and agility
• Her talisman is called the Mater Talisman
• It is also known as The Talisman of Power

STAR'S TALISMAN

• It helps shock an enemy's eyes
• This talisman is called the talisman of Light
• It enhances Star's fur and makes it so bright it can blind others.

ZIP'S TALISMAN

• This talisman helps make the claws feel like burning fire whenever a victim is scratched
• This helps Zip not make animals do things by mind-reading them, but helping him in claw-to-claw combat
• This talisman is called the Talisman of Fire Touch

Zip is like a father to Star. He is treated like one of the family by Shard and Star.

Shard is the mother of Star and the proud apprentice of Zip's swimming classes and how to be a parent classes as well.

Star is the daughter of Shard and friends with Zip. She is very energetic and outgoing toward anyone.

ZIP'S STORY

Zip's grandparents were named Kira and Sacai. They were regular cheetahs and only dreamed of anything special happening to them.

Zip's mother was named Sora and his father was named Maru. Nothing special ran through their blood to make Zip supernatural. Although they doubted the mind reading rumor, they still loved Zip and his powers.

A little while after Zip was born, his parents were hunted by the near Zawubi tribe and killed for their beautiful fur.

Once, Shard smelled hyenas near. They captured Zip, flogged him and hung him on a tree to die.

They wanted Zip's power. The hyenas had seen Zip and thought he was peculiar. Shard and Star hid in the bushes and investigated this.

Zip fought back and killed a couple hyena leaders. Shard came to his rescue just to be beaten up like Zip had. Zip ran away and helped a mentally insane hyena named Jerry.

Jerry met Zip, Shard and Star and became friends with them. Jerry became the leader of the hyena pack and left to find a better territory.

A messanger bird came to Shard and invited her and her family to Jerry's wedding. It didn't state the bride but it asked to borrow Shard's territory for the wedding.

Jerry came to their territory and brought his bride, Zelda. She was formerly rude but Jerry turned that around and made her nice. Zelda helped Jerry with his mental issues.

After the wedding, one of the half dead hyena leaders came alive and Shard killed the hyena with the power of the elders. Jerry and Zelda stayed in Shard's territory when a lion begged for medicane.....

That lion was a wanted lion and a very dangerous criminal. He was with an African zoo.

Using an African sewer system, Jerry, Zelda, their hyena pack, Shard, Star and Zip traced the lion whose name was Cane Johnston. The gang collected their missing items. Zip wrote a note to the humans to put Cane down! After a few weeks of hiding in the sewer, the gang was happy to hear Cane was dead. One of their most important posessions was lost in a big city...

Shard jumps out of a man hole and onto a truck. There she finds Star's talisman. Zip rescues Shard and the hyena gang and the family return to their territory. The hyena pack comes every summer to visit.

When Shard went to hunt, she found a gazelle. She wanted to eat it and found that if she didn't eat it, she would be able to keep it as a pet. Later on, she chased it up a tree and the gazelle got stuck. Shard discovered that it's mom was the most important thing in the world to it.

Shard found the mother. Soon the herd of gazelles found out what happened. The mother got disrespect from the herd. The mother and baby gazelle abandoned the herd and stuck with Zip, Star and Shard. As long as they were fed, the gazelles would spy for Shard and her family.

Tuchu, the mother gazelle could defeat lions. She was caring, loyal and devoted to take care of her son, Mufata. Mufata was cute, loving, caring, and easygoing.

Power will arise....

The Makali tribe was a tribe of hundreds of rhinos whom killed lions and put the hides on their backs. After Shard, Star and Zip's neighbors moved, the Makali tribe moved in and took over Shard's territory. Their family gathered allies including Zelda's and Jerry's pack, their gazelle spies, and other friends who were willing to fight for them. Everyone fought because they didn't want the savanna to be taken over. After 2 weeks of fighting, Shard's territory was taken back and extended. The rhinos were dead and defeated for good! Shard soon discovered that some of the lion skins were her mother's, her mate's and some other lions she knew. Zip lost his mind reading powers but regeined them after being tested by Shard.

Another day Shard got a prophecy from the elders stating there would be someone threatening Storm Clan's life. Zip felt the presence of something drawing closer. Shard, Star and Zip got ready to fight. Then a lion tied them up and knocked them out. Zip attacked the strange lion and Shard woke up and attacked it too. Soon, the strange lion told Shard he was her father, Mabaya. Mabaya soon eared trust from Storm Clan and started living in their territory. He appologized for his foolish behavior toward Storm Clan. However, he went by the traditional pride rules and tried to force Shard into hunting for him every morning. He failed . When Jerry and Zelda's pack (now called Power Pack) came to Storm Clan's territory, Mabaya treated them wrongly. He later appoligized but still Storm Clan was suspecious. After weeks of trust, Mabaya tried to kill Shard in her sleep. Shard and Zip fought Mabaya. …

Mabaya stole Shard's talisman. Zip and Star allied their talismans to get Shard's talisman back. Shard handed her talisman to zip and dueled her father in the biggest fight for her life. She killed him and sent him in the sky where her elders lived. There, her elders appointed Mabaya to live a lonely life living in thunderclouds.He would not hurt anyone but himself. He could still visit Storm Clan in their dreams, but never haunted them again.

One day Shard asked Zip if they could get a teacher for Star. Zip happened to know a teacher by the name of Akili. She was a great blue heron. Zip found that Akili lived nearby in a swampy territory. Akili visits Star on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Akili teaches history, english and math to Star is a fun, interactive way.
