GENERAL INFORMATION

  • It's called the Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA)
  • It was established May 12, 1933
  • The purpose was to reduce the production of crops so prices would rise

WHO IT AFFECTED AND BENEFITS

  • Struggling farmers
  • They had too many crops that no one was buying
  • The higher the price the more money they got
  • This only benefited farmers not consumers

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Farmers were back in business
  • They were getting money
  • Though this happened it was not successful

IS IT STILL AROUND?

  • No, because they were slaughtering pigs and people didn't like it
  • The government had paid farmers to slaughter them
  • It was decided to be unconstitutional
