PURPOSE

  • The AAA's purpose was to maintain the amount of food produced by the farmers so that the prices of food would come up.
  • It was also created so food and existing crops would not be destroyed and go to waste.

WHO IT AFFECTS/BENEFITS

  • The Agricultural Adjustment Administration affects farmers in particular because it helped them raise the prices of crops up.
  • This benefited the farmers because they could now make more money and not let their food that they had worked so hard to make go to waste.

SUCCESSFUL OR UNSUCCESSFUL

  • This act was a success to farmers because they could now earn enough money to feed their family and live their lives.
  • Although the prices of resources went up, this act was helpful to the people because they could now get food and other things they needed without worrying about the stores going out of business.

IS IT STILL AROUND TODAY?

  • The AAA is still around today and is known as farm subsidies.
  • It helps farmers stay in business so that Americans could get what they wanted when they needed it.
