By 800 CE, population increased by 20%.
By 1000 CE, population grew by 25%.
After, population grew steadily.

URBANIZTION
Demographic increase caused more people to concentrate in cities.
Ports and trading centers increased in inhabitants.
Southern India population grew because of agricultural productivity.
