Michael Brauer and coresearchers Conor Reynolds and Perry Hystad argue that there is an accumulating body of evidence showing negative health effects from traffic-related air pollution. They suggest various actions that may be taken, including copying European cities that levy fees on cars in congested and filthy areas to reduce the amount of traffic. Also this group has mentioned creating a transit to help reduce car pollution in British Colombia.
We think the article was well organized with lots of supporting details, and facts. We were shocked to learn so much about this air pollution in BC. We liked how the writer mentioned how a group of people can make a big impact on our lives. One question is how it would effect the future. We hope that one day, all around the world, everyone would be driving eco-friendly vehicles, or using public transits. Another question is how did they come up with such a creative idea, and what was the process like of making so revolutionary?
