Akhenaten tried to change Egypt's religion by building large open-air temples to the god Aton. He also had moved the capital of Egypt and changed the gods names.

Akhenaten was born in 1380 BC in Egypt. He became king in 1353BC. Then after 17 years of ruling he died on 1336 BC. As a pharaoh he was mummified and has a great tomb.
