Geography.
Anchorage Alaska is basically surrounded by Chugach Mountains to the east the mountains have a general elevation of 4,000 to 5,000 feet, with peaks from 8,000 to 10,000 feet. The effect of the tall mountains is the worm air from the golf of Mexico can't come in.

Culture Anchorage Alaska has 15 percent of there population native this includes 15 different cultures. It is vary cold there it will fell like winter all year if you live in Ohio. Also there is vary little electricity there. How this effected them was they had to have lots of worm blankets and had to learn how to build fires so the climate did Impact the culture.
