Who helped stop segregation?
Early life
- Went to a white school in first grade
- Born in 1954
- Move to new Orleans when I was 4
- When she was 6 segregation had been against the law for 6 years
Education
- White parents took children out school so Ruby was only person in class
- long walk to school
- 1970 schools were integrated in New orleans
- In 1971 Ruby graduated high school
later years
- Married to Malcom Hall
- Had four suns
- Was a tavel agent
- Volunteered at her old school

- Want all kids to feel accepted
- Thinks kids should have good education
There are lots of facts about me to learn.
That fateful walk to school began a journey and we must all work together to continue moving forward.
