How he Affected history

  • He invented the telephone in 1876
  • The telephone sends messages around the world
  • You won't have to wait for weeks/months for a reply
  • You can talk to anybody in just seconds
  • You can send messages faster

About the telephone

  • There were two parts to the telephone
  • One part was for the mouth, the other for the ear
  • "Mr. Watson, come here. I want to see you."
  • That was the first call, with Alexander's assistant.
  • Lots of people enjoyed his invention and tried investing

Pros

  • You can talk to anyone around the world
  • You don't have to wait for weeks for a reply
  • You don't have to waste paper with sending letters
  • You can just communicate easier in general
  • Everyone loved the invention

Cons

  • Everyone began to rely on the telephone
  • The telephone sends off radioactive waves
  • Radioactive waves can cause cancer
  • People have become too dependent on the telephone
  • No one likes talking to people in person anymore
