CHROMOSOME
A chromosome is a structure of DNA, protein, and RNA found in cells. It is a single piece of coiled DNA containing many genes, regulatory elements and other nucleotide sequences.
GENES
Gene is the process by which information from a gene is used in the synthesis of a functional gene product.
DNA
Deoxyribonucleic acid is a molecule that encodes the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and many viruses.
GENOTYPE
The genotype is the genetic makeup of a cell, an organism, or an individual usually with reference to a specific characteristic under consideration.
PHENOTYPE
A phenotype is the composite of an organism's observable characteristics or traits, such as its morphology, development, biochemical or physiological properties, phenology, behavior, and products of behavior.
HOMOZYGOUS RECESSIVE
Prefix homo means "same" when two letters of the genes are the same. Recessive has two lower case letters.
HOMOZYGOUS DOMINANT
Prefix homo means "same" when two letters of the genes are the same. Dominant means two capital letters are the same.
HETEROZYGOUS
Having dissimilar pairs of genes for any hereditary characteristic.
PROBABILITY
In probability and statistics, a probability distribution assigns a probability to each measurable subset of the possible outcomes of a random experiment, etc.
MUTATION
A Mutation occurs when a DNA gene is damaged or changed in such a way as to alter the genetic message carried by that gene.
Rottweilers are from Germany and are guarding dogs, and Shih Tzus are from China and they're more so of a house pet.
The purpose of a Rottweiler is that they can pill carts that carry butchered meat back in the early 1900's as well as other products to the market. The purpose of a Shih Tzu is that they're very alert, friendly, and trust worthiness towards all.
The strengths of a Rottweiler is that they're intelligent, and really good guard dogs for a family. The weaknesses of a Rottweiler is that it's very stubborn. Shih Tzu strengths is that they're good for couples and make good company. Weaknesses for a Shih Tzu is that it's not always good for babies/toddlers.
Rottweiler interacts with people very good. They're friendly, good guard dog, if trained properly, and very good for a family. Shih Tzu interacts with people good as well. Shih Tzus are a good family dog and a companion.
I created this breed of dog because I wanted to see the different looks with a Rottweiler and Shih Tzu mixed together and how well of the dominant part of the Rottweiler would take over the Shih Tzu soft features.
Other interesting facts about a Rottweiler is that they're one of the oldest dog breeds in the world. Shih Tzus are known for little lion pups because they look like little lions
