Grew up in a community that believed the genders were equal.
Alice joined the NAWSA and left them later. She formed NWA.
Then she formed the "Silent Sentinels"
Woodrow Wilson was entering WWI and did not want the women to protest.
As the riot went on, Alice and her followers became more demanding.
Alice goes on a Hunger strike

Wilson passed the 19th amendment in 1920.
Alice believed after the 19th amendment, her fight wasn't over
Instead, the Equal Rights Amendment got passed in 1972. It soon got changed to the Alice Paul Amendment.
Alice helped to fight for gender equality in the United Nations.
Alice Paul died on July 9, 1977 at the age of 92.
Alice Paul led women everywhere to their equality. She influenced people to stand up and make a difference.
