  • Roads were built by armies and soilders
  • They even built their roads over hills!
  • Also built bridges over rivers and streams
  • Milestones were placed along roads

  • Appician way was traveled by poor, government, noblemen, slaves, and more
  • Inns stationed along roads were not nice; you often got robbed

  • At first he was thought of as a fool but later proved he was a great ruler
  • Ordered the invasion of Britain  in A.D. 43

  • He went on stage because he wanted to be an actor and poet...
  • Many people were disappointed  
  • Was blamed for a fire that burnt much of Rome in A.D. 64

  • City is where the wolf found them

  • There are three rules to roman numerals
  • 1. Letters are written from the largest value to the smallest.  Each...
  • Letter adds to the previous letters' value.
  • 2. Only powers of ten may be repeated.  No symbol may be repeated..
  • Three times in a row.
