What is an owl?

An owl is a large bird. An owl has wings, a beak, and talons. Owls look similar to eagles.

What is an owl's Life Cycle?

An owl starts as an egg. Once it hatches, it looks like a fuzzy baby bird. Soon, it grows to become a full sized owl with feathers.

What is an owl's habitat?

Owls can make their nests in many places, including old trees, in a dead cactus, or even on the ground.

What do owls eat?

Different owls eat different things, depending on their size. Larger owls eat snakes and rabbits. Smaller owls eat insects, mice, fish, and smaller snakes.
