There is so much more to professional dancing than what meets the eye!

But before the stage, you must know these few tips!

Pre-show Routine!

• something comfy + hair up
• stretch very well
• make sure makeup is good
• listen to music (or anything calming)

By the way, ALWAYS make sure you have everything you need. Don't end up like my mom having to drive an hour back home to get dance shoes!

If you ever find yourself on a tour, or on the road for dance, know that you must maintain your health and strength well while traveling!

REMEMBER: Its okay to make mistakes on stage! Come back from it like it never happened.

One last thing: when auditioning, know that it is OKAY to not get the role you wanted! Be even better next time!

• Research the show and the team!
• Voice lessons if possible!
• Don't Apologize!
• Sing a Broadway song and a pop/rock song!
• Have an audition book!

Well don't worry because watching a show such as the Nutcracker every year serves as a wonderful tradition!

Now, even though you're pretty stage-ready, you should still be prepared for these common scenarios.
