Introduction
Have you ever wondered about the sun? What is it made of and how does it make so much light? Why does the Earth go around the sun and not the other way around? Well, if you have wondered about these things then this is the book for you.
The sun holds the Earth and it circles around the sun. When the Earth is closer to the sun then it is summer but if the Earth is farther away from the sun it is winter. The Earth goes around the sun to change seasons. The Earth goes around the sun. Our amazing Earth orbits the sun.
All the planets circle around the sun. Some planets are closer to the sun like Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Some planets are farther away from the sun like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. The planets that are closer to the sun are hotter and the planets that are farther from the sun are colder. The sun is important to so many planets.
The sun's light is created in it's core. There are 2 parts in the sun. The Radioactive Zone and the Convection Zone. These 2 zones move light to heat from the core to the surface. Scattered light from the sun is what makes the sky look blue. Now you know some glowing facts about the sun.
